Meniscus Scaffold
Actifit is a scaffold specifically designed to support regeneration of chronic painful meniscus loss through arthroscopic surgery.
The Actifit device is a biodegradable, porous scaffold, designed to facilitate the formation of new tissue, using the body’s own physiological pathways for healing.
It is intended for irreparable meniscus tears and partial meniscal defects in the medial and lateral compartment.
Over time ( >5years), the bioabsorbable scaffold is resorbed as new tissue ingrowth will support and replace the function of the meniscus.
